Numerous plant extracts have been used to support the respiratory system: Pimpinella anisum (Anise), Thymus vulgaris (Thyme), Pinus sylvestris (Pine), Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus) and Salva officinalis (Sage) have been added to dissolve mucus and free airways. Glycerol and honey have a soothing effect on the throat. Propolis was added because of its natural, antibacterial effect.
