Brass
Prequine Brass has been developed as a supplement to copper, zinc and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in feed for mares during the last 3 months of pregnancy and foals up to 5 months old. Zinc administered to a pregnant mare increases the chance of a healthy foal.
INDICATIONS | ▸ Prequine brass supplements the levels of copper, zinc and vitamin C ▸ Prequine Brass is also recommended as a supplement to the diet of foals up to approx. 5 months of age ▸ After birth, the foal is largely dependent on the copper and zinc levels in supplementary feed due to the very low excretion in the milk ▸ For a normal development of the articular cartilage in the unborn foal |

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE | ▸ Pregnant mares: 1 x 40 g per day ▸ Foals from 3-7 weeks old: 1 x 5 g per day ▸ Foals from 7-12 weeks old: 1 x 10 g per day ▸ Foals from 12 – 22 weeks: 1 x 20 g per day ▸ Ponies < 300 kg and their foals: half of the above amounts. |
