              This is an example calculation based on the manufacturer’s recommendations. The actual forage allowance must be adapted to the horse’s body weight, the nutritional value and dry matter content of the hay, body condition, and individual requirements.<\/p>\n

              Important:<\/strong> sufficient forage intake is particularly important for horses with a history of impaction colic. The manufacturer’s feeding program should therefore not automatically be considered the ideal daily forage allowance for every horse.<\/p>\n

              Gradual dietary transition<\/h3>\n

              The manufacturer recommends gradually transitioning from the existing concentrate feed to HP Motility over approximately three weeks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                HP Motility contains added vitamins and minerals, including selenium. Therefore, avoid automatically combining it with other comprehensive vitamin and mineral supplements.<\/p>\n

                If signs of colic occur:<\/strong> contact a veterinarian if the horse shows abdominal pain, produces less manure, has a reduced appetite, or develops other signs of colic.
