Gastric and digestive health

Healthy digestion is essential for your horse’s well-being, body condition, and athletic performance. Health & Performance offers nutritional products designed to support gastric function, intestinal microbiota, normal manure consistency, and intestinal transit.

HP Gastrovet is a mineral-based complementary feed containing calcareous marine algae, pectin, lecithin, and yeast cultures. These ingredients support a healthy gastric environment and normal digestive function. Particularly suitable for horses with sensitive stomachs and performance horses requiring additional gastric support.

HP Intestovet combines prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotic components to support a balanced intestinal microbiome, normal fiber digestion, and healthy manure consistency. It is particularly useful during dietary transitions and periods when additional digestive support is desirable.

HP Colon, formerly Bonpard Colon, is a specialized, fiber-rich dietary feed developed for horses experiencing recurring digestive problems affecting the large intestine. Its combination of selected plant fibers and live yeast cultures supports intestinal fermentation, microbial balance, and normal manure consistency. Particularly relevant for horses experiencing free fecal water or poorly digested manure.

HP Motility, formerly Bonpard Motility, is a specialized dietary feed for horses requiring additional nutritional support for normal intestinal transit. Its carefully selected fiber sources, highly digestible ingredients, and live yeast cultures make it suitable for feeding programs designed for horses susceptible to hard manure and recurring intestinal impactions.

HP Black Psyllium Seed contains 100% whole black psyllium seeds (Plantago afra). When exposed to moisture, the seeds produce a gel-like mucilage that can help carry ingested sand through the digestive tract. Particularly useful for horses kept in sandy paddocks, sparse pastures, or other environments where sand ingestion is common.

It provides essential vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, including vitamin E, copper, zinc, and selenium, to complement forage-based diets.

HP Non-Obesitas, formerly Bonpard Non-Obesitas, is a specialized feed for overweight horses and ponies. Its high-fiber, protein-rich formulation has a low energy density and is designed to support gradual weight reduction while helping maintain muscle mass and an adequate intake of essential nutrients.

Muscle function, electrolytes, and athletic performance

Performance horses have specific nutritional requirements during intensive training and competition. Adequate energy, high-quality protein, essential amino acids, electrolytes, and antioxidants contribute to normal muscle function and recovery after exercise.

HP Muscle, formerly Bonpard Muscle, is a specialized dietary feed containing vegetable fats, selected fiber sources, high-quality proteins, vitamins, and minerals. It is designed to support muscle metabolism and body condition, particularly in horses requiring adapted feeding programs because of certain muscle metabolism disorders or difficulty maintaining body weight.

HP LactaStride is an antioxidant paste combining alpha-lipoic acid with Melofeed®, a natural melon extract containing antioxidant enzymes. The product is developed to support normal muscle metabolism and antioxidant defenses during intensive training and competition.

HP Electrolytes+ contains sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, supplemented with essential amino acids. It is formulated to replenish electrolytes lost through sweating and support normal fluid balance, muscle function, and recovery after physical exercise.

HP Natural Vitamin E contains natural vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol) without added selenium. Vitamin E supports normal muscle and nerve function and helps protect cells against oxidative stress. This selenium-free formulation is particularly suitable when additional vitamin E is required without increasing selenium intake.

HP Natural Vitamin E + Selenium combines natural vitamin E with organic selenium from selenium-enriched yeast. Both nutrients contribute to normal muscle function and antioxidant protection. This formulation is intended for horses whose complete diets justify additional selenium supplementation.
